Richard Weeks has been involved in the marine insurance industry since
1978. He began his career with Liberty Mutual Insurance as a claims
trainee in the marine department. In 1984, he became claims manager for
Crum and Forester Insurance Co. and was directly responsible for
establishing claims handling procedures. He is also involved in injury
claims, hull claims and cargo claims.
In 1991, Richard joined Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. and currently
works in the Washington State office. His job functions include
workers' compensation, Jones Act and USL&H claims. Mr. Weeks is
professionally licensed in the states of Alaska and Washington and also
is a member of the Marine Insurance Society, the Puget Sound Maritime
Claims Association & the Longshore Association.

Stephanie Haughton began work with Commercial Claims Services in 1987,
and came to Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. when Lamorte Burns purchased
the company in 1988. She holds an Associate of Arts degree as a
paralegal from Highline College. She has previously worked as an
administrator for self-insured workers' compensation claims in the
states of Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Stephanie presently handles
cruise passenger, Jones Act, USL&H, foreign crewmen, dock damage
and cargo claims. Stephanie is also professionally licensed in the
states of Alaska, Washington and Oregon. |
Anthony Carlone began his career in the insurance industry in 2001 with
Kemper Insurance. While at Kemper, he handled Washington State workers'
compensation claims for Boeing Company. He attained a double degree in
Economics and Psychology from the University of Washington in 2000.
Anthony joined Lamorte Burns & Co. in 2004. He handles workers'
compensation, USL&H claims and P&I matters.
Jim Tomlinson began
working in the maritime industry in 1989 with Eagle Insurance Company. While at
Eagle, he handled full case load of USL&H claims as a senior claims
examiner, litigation specialist and claims supervisor. He also has handled
Alaska State Act and Washington State Act Claims. Jim is a graduate of
Linfield
College with a business
degree. Jim joined Lamorte Burns in 2006.
Nick McGhee has been an
investigator for the Seattle office since April, 2007. He graduated
from Washington
State University in 2006 with a degree in
Business, concentrating in Finance and Insurance. He served for six years in
the Air National Guard with a Special Operations Unit located in Tacoma, WA. |
