| Robert Hanson started with Liberty Mutual in 1978, where he handled MEL, Jones Act, and USL&H. His marine experience continued while working with Freeport Sulfur Company, Land & Marine Services and Dravo Mechling (now ACL). These employers all provided a variety of exposures including USL&H, cargo, hull and P&I liabilities.
In 1986, Bob joined Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. in Louisiana. He learned blue water exposures and was promoted to Assistant Office Manager in Louisiana in March 1989. In February 1991, he became Manager of the Texas office. Bob handles all types of P&I cases and H&M for both the blue water and brown water clients. He is a past-president of the Houston Claims Association (elected to the Board of Directors in 2005), a member of the Houston Mariners Club and past president of the University of Missouri Alumni Association; Houston Chapter. |
