Wendy has
been with Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. since we were headquartered at
The World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan. She completed her
Master's Program, with honors, at SUNY Maritime College at Fort
Schuyler. As Manager of the Long Beach Office P&I section, she is
in charge of all matters, including cargo, Charter Party, and hull
matters. She is also in charge of crew-related claims; medical bill
repricing & negotiating with providers for agreed audit.
Furthermore, Wendy provides extensive support to our branch offices
regarding P&I matters.
Wendy devotes considerable effort in regard to third party indemnity
claims because of our firm's policy of not just providing premium
quality of claim handling services, but more importantly to go one step
further to aggressively pursue indemnity recovery for our clients.
Over the last 20 years, Wendy has developed an expertise in creating
and implementing Cargo Risk Management Procedures for our shipowner and
charterer clients.
Wendy is also responsible for training new personnel and is The P&I
department manager in our Long Beach Office.

Anthony Carlone began his career in the insurance industry in 2001 with Kemper Insurance. While at Kempers, he
handled Washington State Workers' compensation claims for Boeing Company. He attained a double degree in Economics and Psychology from the University of Washington
in 200. Anthony joined Lamorte Burns & Co. in 2004. He handles Workers' Compensation, USL&H claims and P&I matters.

Craig Kuhns started his career in Worker’s Compensation in 1980 at SAIF Corporation, after obtaining his BS
and JD degrees from Willamette University. He worked in Oregon, Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (L&HWCA) and Jones Act claims, managing a Federal
Claims Unit for 10 years. He went to Liberty Mutual in April of 1997 as a Sr. Case Manager and managed Oregon, Alaska, L&HWCA and Jones Act claims. He was
promoted to Master Claims Consultant in 2004, and continued to work in that capacity until retiring in January 2010.
He was appointed to the Longshore Regional Advisory Group, US Department of Labor in Seattle, WA in 1983. He has been President of the Northwest Longshore
Administrators Association (NWLAA) since 1987. He was a founding Board Member of the Longshore Claims Association (LCA, based in Southern California) in 1989,
and continues in that position. He has spoken at, and organized, numerous meetings and seminars on L&HWCA and Jones Act claims.
