Charles
Johnson has been with Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. since 2003,
and is assigned to the Hull & Machinery and Cargo Claims Sections.
Charles is an attorney with background experience in maritime/admiralty
law, contract law and commercial litigation, as well as transportation
law. He is a former Assistant Counsel with the Department of the Navy.
Charles has practiced law as a senior litigation associate with several
maritime and commercial firms in both New York and Connecticut.
Charles graduated cum laude from Fairfield University with a
B.A. Degree in 1990 and received his J.D. degree from Syracuse
University College of Law in 1994. Charles is admitted to the Bars of
Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. He is
also a member of the Maritime Law Association of the U.S., the
Connecticut Maritime Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. |

John Gill joined Lamorte
Burns & Co., Inc. in
2007 and is assigned to the Cargo Claims and Personal
Injury sections. John is an attorney with background experience
in insurance law, claims handling and regulatory compliance. He
has previously worked in both the public and private sectors.
John graduated from The
George Washington University with a B.A. Degree
in 2002, and received his J.D. from Suffolk University
Law School in 2007. While in
law school, John received the American Jurisprudence award in corporate
law and the CALI
award in consumer law. John is admitted to the Connecticut
Bar. He is also a member of the American Bar Association,
Connecticut Bar Association and the Maritime Law Association of the U.S.

Michael
Minogue holds a degree in Marine Engineering and Maritime
Transportation (Dual License) from the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy at
Kings Point and has over thirty (30) years experience within the
maritime industry. He sailed with both American Export Lines and
Crowley Maritime and in 1977 became Marine Superintendent for NYK
Lines. In this capacity, he served as Port Captain with responsibility
for all operations of NYK's container vessels on the U. S. East Coast
and Canada. In 1980, Mr. Minogue joined Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc.
as a marine claims adjuster and currently serves as Vice President
responsible for the supervision of all collision, dock damage, tanker,
oil pollution, and hull and machinery claims handled by the company's
offices located throughout the United States. In 1990, Mr. Minogue
started Environmental Crisis Management (ECM) to provide compliance
services to tank vessels in the wake of the Exxon Valdez and in
anticipation of OPA 90. These services were expanded to include
non-tank vessel and U.S. State/Canadian Pollution Regulations, as well
as a variety of surveying and inspection services. In March of 2000,
Mr. Minogue was appointed CEO/President of ECM Maritime Services, LLC.
