Tony has
been handling a variety of Maritime claims for the last 17 years for a
wide range of domestic and international underwriters. He joined
Lamorte Burns in 2006 and began handling Longshore and Harbor Workers
compensation claims as well. Tony holds a Private Investigator License
and All Lines Adjuster license and is working towards his AMIM
(Associate in Marine Insurance Management). Throughout his career he
has developed much of his Maritime expertise through securing recorded
statements involving death cases, first and third party catastrophic
injuries, investigating accident scenes and working closely with many
different law enforcement officials involving cargo thefts, stowaways,
and repatriations. Tony also handles all aspects of Jones Act claims
for Employers and their underwriters as well as coordinates survey
matters for various P&I Clubs.

Tom
has been in the maritime claims field for the past 33 years. He began
his career as a resident adjuster handling work-related maritime
accidents. He continued his career while working for carriers, a
brokerage firm, and more that a decade of self-employment in and around
the Port of New Orleans. In 1996, Tom moved to Chicago to become the
Branch Manager of a national TPA which handles Longshore claims
throughout the Midwest (the Great Lakes, the Upper Mississippi Valley,
and the Ohio River Valley). He then moved to Florida in 2005 and
currently handles claims in our Port Everglades and Jacksonville
offices.
Tom is a licensed multi-line adjuster in Florida and is on the board of
the Longshore Claims Association.
Tom earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Louisiana -
Lafayette (formerly USL) and an M.B.A. form Nicholls State University.

Kimberly Almaguer joined Lamorte Burns & Co., Inc. in June, 2002.
She obtained her Florida All Lines Adjuster license in 1995 and is a
member of the W.C.C.P., P.C.C.P. and the Compensation Fraud Task Force.
She has ten years of extensive claims handling experience involving
State of Florida Compensation, Social Security Disability, and U.S.
Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation claims. She is also capable
of handling a variety of P&I claims. |
| Shaun Mundy Aulita |

Shaun has
handled and supervised USL&H, Jones Act and statutory compensation
claims since 1982. Her career has relocated her in various ports
including New Orleans, Houston, south Florida where she was a national
maritime manager for a major carrier. Shaun developed expertise
out of the claims arena for state carriers as to allocation of maritime
premium, coverage and underwriting disputes relative to
USL&H. She originally joined the Houston Lamorte office in
1992 where she handled P&I and Jones Act claims. She
presently focuses on USL&H claims in the South Florida area.
Shaun has a master’s degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health
Counseling and a B.A. in ISS Psychology/Sociology from University of
South Florida. |
